Description
The School House is a house that likely dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a clay interlocking tile roof. The building is two storeys tall and features one window on the first floor. On the ground floor, to the left, there is a segmental-arched carriage entrance with a sundial above it. To the right, there is one bay of 20th-century casement windows in flush surrounds, which were formerly fitted with flat-faced mullions. There is a shaped kneeler to the right and ashlar coping along the top. A brick stack is located at the right end of the building. Access to the interior is from the carriageway. Additionally, a later school building has been constructed adjacent to this house.
