Description

Hill Crest is a cottage dated 1785, constructed from coursed rubble with 20th-century clay interlocking pantiles and stone slates at the eaves. The building has two storeys and features three first-floor windows, along with lean-to additions at the rear. It has a plinth and quoins on the left side. The central door is set within an ashlar surround that includes impost blocks, and the lintel bears the inscription "WS 1785." The ground floor has four-pane sash windows with ashlar projecting sills and deep lintels, with one window to the left of the door and two to the right. There is a shaped kneeler and ashlar coping on the left side, and an end stack is located to the left.
