Description

This dovecote, now used as a store, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of red and vitrified brick with timber eaves and features a pantile roof. The building has a square plan and includes a low round-arched doorway beneath a continuous raised band. The apex of the pyramidal roof has been rebuilt, and it has overhanging eaves. The dovecote is located approximately 40 metres northeast of Manor Cottages in Thorpe Bassett.
