Description
Park House is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features an artificial stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three first-floor windows, with quoins at the corners. The openings are framed with ashlar surrounds and extended lintels. The central entrance is a part-glazed door, and above it, there is a 4-pane sash window. The other windows are tripartite sashes that have wide keystones and replaced sills, with the windows slightly extended downwards. The roof is hipped, and there are brick stacks at the ends.
At the rear, there is a central 4-panel door set in an ashlar surround. To the right, there is a bay with 3-light double-chamfered windows, and to the left, a tall landing window with quoining and segmental arches, which is now blocked except for a side-sliding sash at the top. Inside, the doors are made up of three fielded panels, and there are stop-chamfered beams and a turned-baluster staircase. It is noted that the roof is said to have been lowered.
