Description

The carthouse, located 10 meters southeast of the shippons at Home Farm, Broughton Hall, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and dressed stone, topped with a stone slate roof. The building features three archways on the west side and one on the north side. The unmoulded arches on the west side merge into columns that do not have caps. This structure is listed for its group value only.
