Description

Nos 14 and 15 Kirkgate is an early 19th-century building, possibly with older elements at the back. The front is made of colour-washed brick, while the rear features hammer-dressed limestone on the ground and first floors. The building has three storeys and a wood modillioned eaves cornice. It consists of two bays with sash windows that have glazing bars. The mid-19th-century shopfront includes a continuous moulded cornice that extends over the passage entrance to the west. At the sill level, there is fielded panelling, and the cornice is supported by cut brackets.
