Description

This property comprises two early 19th-century buildings fronting a timber-framed house, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier. The timber frame is visible from the side passage, and a wall plate is exposed at the rear. The front elevation is constructed of colour-washed brick, standing three storeys high. It features two bays with sash windows containing glazing bars. The mid-19th century shopfronts are distinguished by panelling to sill level, panelled pilasters (in No. 10, these incorporate late 19th-century mirrors), ornamental moulded consoles, a frieze, and a modillioned cornice.
