Description
Newburgh House is an 18th-century house with older origins and 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of sandstone and has a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features eight first-floor windows. There are quoins on the left side of the second and third bays. A projecting gabled porch is located in the sixth bay. The windows are casement style, and there are brick stacks at the ends of the building, as well as between the second and third, fifth and sixth, and sixth and seventh bays. The front elevation includes parts of a frieze, which may date back to the 16th century.
