Description

The apiary located approximately 5 metres east of Stonegrave House is a 18th-century structure that is attached to the garden wall at the east end of the house. It is built from limestone rubble with some brick patching and features a pantile roof. The building has a rectangular plan and is a single storey. There is a 4-pane fixed window on the south side, and the roof is hipped. Inside, there are elliptical-arched niches that are approximately 80 centimetres high, 50 centimetres wide, and 25 centimetres deep, all situated about 1 metre above the floor level.
