Description

Pin Cottage is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is built of coursed rubble stone, topped with a pantile roof and features brick stacks. The house is two stories high and has a three-window front, with the gable end facing the street. A 20th-century door is located at the center right, flanked by three-light, eight-pane horizontal-sliding sash windows that have painted sills and lintels. On the far left, there is a two-light, six-pane sliding sash window with a painted timber lintel. The first floor has six-pane sliding sash windows with painted timber lintels that correspond to those on the ground floor. The right end and center-left of the house have chimney stacks.
