Description

Barugh Bridge is a bridge, likely built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from rusticated calcareous sandstone and features hammer-dressed coping. The bridge has two spans with semicircular arches made of rock-faced voussoirs, which rise from a central pier that includes cutwaters. Above the arches is a raised band, topped with plain parapets that have chamfered copings. The parapets end in low cylindrical piers that have domed caps.
