Description
The Ebenezer Chapel, dated 1838, is located on the north-east side of Brawby village street. It is a rectangular building constructed from squared calcareous sandstone with a slate roof. The chapel is single-storied and has a front of three bays. The main entrance features a four-panel door flanked by two twelve-pane sash windows, all with painted stone sills and painted tooled lintels. A datestone above the door is inscribed "Ebenezer ERECTED BY Voluntary Subscription Anno Domini MDCCCXXXVIII”. The roof is hipped. A single twelve-pane sash window, with a painted stone sill and painted tooled lintel, is situated on the right return.
