Description
Bull Farmhouse, formerly known as the Black Bull Inn, is a farmhouse dated 1669 that was refronted in the early 18th century and has undergone alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of slobbered rubble with stone dressings and features a slate roof with brick gable-end ridge stacks. It is two storeys high and has two bays. The entrance, located to the right of centre, has a plain surround and a decorated lintel in the early 18th century style, leading to a seven-panel door with the top panel glazed. The ground floor has two windows with moulded surrounds, featuring 20-pane sashes, while the upper floor has two windows with 20th-century casements. At the rear, there is an entrance with a chamfered surround and a decorated lintel that includes the date.
