Description

The cross base, located approximately 500 millimetres west of the porch of the Church of St Edmund King and Martyr, is likely from the 16th century. It is made of ashlar sandstone and has a square plan with broached corners. On top of the base is a shaft and cross that serves as a First World War Memorial, although this part is not considered of special interest.
