Description
The boundary stone located approximately 200 metres south-east of Cod Bank Barn is a parish boundary marker, likely dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of millstone grit and stands about 1 metre high and 1 metre wide. The front of the stone features two horizontal scored lines, with the names 'CLAPHAM' and 'INGLETON' inscribed between them, separated by a vertical V-shaped groove. The rear of the stone is plain. This boundary stone has been listed twice in the past, with a previous listing under the parish of Ingleton that was removed on October 2, 2018.
