Description

The hill table tomb, located approximately 2 metres southeast of the tower of the Church of St Mary, dates from around 1783 and commemorates Robert Hill. Made of stone, it features six short hollow-moulded columns with moulded tops that support a rectangular slab. The slab has a moulded edge and displays well-cut lettering in memory of Robert Hill, who died in 1783, as well as his two wives, Margaret, who died in 1764, and Anne, who died in 1777.
