Description

Farmhouse. Dating from the early 18th century, with a later 18th-century extension and early 19th-century window replacement, the farmhouse has a cobbles base with ashlar dressings, some parts rendered, and a 20th-century concrete interlocking tile roof. It is two storeys high, with three bays and an L-shaped plan. Quoins are present. The central entrance has a 20th-century part-glazed door within an ashlar surround, featuring bases and interrupted jambs. There are 16-pane sash windows with deep slab lintels; the central first-floor window is blind and painted to match the others. Shaped kneelers and ashlar coping are visible, along with brick end stacks. A lower, late 18th-century service wing is located to the rear right. The right return is pebble-dashed. Inside, the first-floor ceilings are reportedly plastered onto reeds.
