Description
Spring House is a house from the early 18th century that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features an artificial stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three bays and a boulder plinth. It has quoins and a central 20th-century panelled door set in a chamfered rusticated quoined surround. The windows are 20th-century casements with 20th-century ashlar sills and lintels. The house has shaped kneelers and 20th-century ashlar copings, along with end stacks. To the right, there is a single-storey extension that has two matching windows, a kneeler, and a 20th-century ashlar coping. On the left side, there is a two-light chamfered mullion window on the ground floor, a single light in a stone surround on the first floor, and a single-light attic window with a brick lintel.
