Description

Thornfield House is an early to mid-18th century house located on the north side of Chapel Terrace in Hunton. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a stone slate roof. The house is two storeys tall and has two windows on the first floor. It features quoins and a central part-glazed six-panel door set within a quoined, chamfered surround. The windows are four-pane sash windows in altered chamfered surrounds. The building has shaped kneelers and ashlar coping on the left side. Brick end stacks are present. It is included in the listing for group value.
