Description
No 36 is a cottage that serves as an extension to No 38, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of pale red-brown brick and features a swept pantile roof with a flat dormer that includes a 16-pane sash window. The cottage shares a large chimney with No 38. It is two storeys high and consists of one bay. To the right, there is a six-panel door framed by an architrave beneath a stucco lintel. The windows are 16-pane sashes (which are replacements) set in flush wood architraves under stucco lintels. The first floor has a stepped four-course band, and the eaves are stepped and dentilled. In front, there are simple iron railings with a matching gate on top of a brick wall that has stone coping.
