Description

Rose Mount is a house comprising two builds, likely dating to the late 18th century and early 19th century, with a visible break in the facade to the left of the current entrance. The house is constructed of pale red-brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The roof is covered with pantiles and features stone coping, kneelers, and chimneys located at the end (left) and to the left of the central break. A double span roof extends over a rear extension to the left.

The house is two storeys high with four windows on the first floor. The entrance is located in the second bay from the right, featuring a 19th-century six-panel door with an oblong fanlight set within a wooden case. Patching to the left indicates the former location of an entrance. A passage runs to the right of the main entrance. The windows are 12-pane sash windows with stucco lintels. A first-floor band of two courses is present on the right half of the building. The eaves have been heightened with a cogged band. Late 19th-century iron railings are set within a low dwarf wall with stone coping, the coping ramping upwards on the left side where it joins the house.
