Description

The gate piers and attached walls, located approximately 130 metres east of High Orchard, date from the late 17th century. The gate piers are made of limestone ashlar and stand about 5.8 metres high. They feature bolstered blocks, moulded cornices, and ball and pedestal finials. The walls, constructed from dressed limestone, rise to approximately 4.5 metres and have a cambered coping.
