Description
The stableyard building attached to the garden wall on the west side of Place Newton House is a Grade II listed structure from the early 19th century. It features squared sandy limestone and a slate roof. The building is two stories high with a one-window front. There is a board door at the ground level, and above it, a 2-light, 18-pane horizontal-sliding sash window, both of which are topped with painted timber lintels. A stack is located at the right end of the building. On the left side, there is a radial-glazed lunette set beneath a semicircular arch on the ground floor. The building is currently used for storage.
