Description

58A High Street is a Grade II listed building located at the rear of No 58. Originally a row of cottages, it has been converted into store rooms. The section closest to the High Street is a two-storey house built in the late Georgian Gothic style, featuring two pointed arched doorways and upper windows with square section stone mullions. To the west, there is a late medieval house that includes a Tudor arched doorway, moulded stone mullioned windows, low ceiling beams, a stone floor, and stone stairs. The cottage at the west end has been altered in the late 18th century, with a blocked door and sash windows. The entire structure is constructed of stone rubble.
