Description

No 60 High Street, which also includes No 2 Sheep Street, is a building dating from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed of stone with rusticated quoins and stands three storeys high. The ground floor features modern shop fronts and a central passage entrance leading to Hallam's Yard, which is adorned with a moulded archivolt and a heavy triple keystone. There are five windows on each upper floor; the first floor windows are tall and slender, while the top floor windows are square, although most have been altered and enlarged.
