Description
Bank Hall is a former single house, now divided into two, dating from around 1860 but with origins in the mid-18th century. The building features a pebbledash exterior with painted stone dressings and a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance is highlighted by a chamfered surround, a dentilled cornice, and an embattled parapet with dropped finials. The entrance doors are two-leaf with margine pane glazing.
On the ground floor, there are two windows and three on the upper floor, all with chamfered surrounds and hoodmoulds. The upper floor windows are sashes, while the ground floor windows lack glazing bars. There is a panel between the floors to the left of the entrance inscribed with "G D I 1765". The gable end has ridge stacks located to the right of the centre. The first unit has a lower two-storey, one-bay addition that contains a ground floor entrance with a plain surround and paterae below the lintel, a plank door, and a crude slate hood. The upper floor window in this addition has a similar hood and is otherwise identical to the sash windows of the main building.
