Description
Bridge End Bridge is a road bridge that likely dates from the early 18th century. It was widened downstream in the early 19th century and underwent alterations in the late 19th century. The bridge is constructed of rubble and dressed stone. On the upstream side, it features a broad single span segmental arch made of rubble, a raked string course, and a late 19th-century parapet with coping. The downstream side is made of dressed stone and has flanking pilasters and a parapet. There is also a late 19th-century wing wall on the southwest side.
