Description

This is a road bridge located to the northeast of Broadwood Cottage, dating from the late 18th century with 19th-century alterations. It is constructed from slobbered rubble with stone dressings. The bridge features a single segmental span over the river and a small land arch on the Thornton in Lonsdale bank. There are four pilasters with caps and a string course at the base of the parapet.
