Description
Slated Mansion, originally a farmhouse, is now a cottage. It dates from the early 19th century but has origins from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of limewashed rubble with painted stone dressings and features a stone slate roof. It has a two-cell plan and is two storeys high with a double front. The central entrance has a decorated lintel inscribed with "T 1717 I M AD" and a door from around 1980. There are two windows on the ground floor and two on the upper floor, all of which are casements from around 1980. The left-hand gable end has a ridge stack, with remnants of a projecting stack base visible in the gable end.
