A row of six scaffolding holes can be seen at the upper floor level. The barn is adorned with bulbous kneelers and gable coping. On the left side, there is a byre door set in a quoined surround, along with the outshut to the left. On the right side, there is another byre door in a quoined surround on the left and an added rear outshut to the right.
