Description
33 and 35 Main Street is a former house that has been converted into two shops, dating from the early 19th century. The building features watershot masonry with stone dressings and a tiled roof. It stands three storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance is framed by a plain surround and includes a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight above. On either side of the entrance are two late 19th-century shopfronts, each with a right-hand entrance and a four-panel door. The first floor has three two-light flat-faced mullioned windows, although the central window's mullion is missing. The second floor also has three two-light flat-faced mullioned windows, which are fitted with sash windows. To the left, there is a late 19th-century loft entrance with a plain surround and a plank door. The building has gable end ridge stacks.
