Description

This is a medieval graveslab located in the churchyard of St Andrew, approximately 4 metres south-west of the south porch. It is made of magnesian limestone ashlar and has a trapezoidal shape, measuring about 1.25 metres in length. The decoration on the slab is badly weathered. The graveslab is illustrated in G E Kirk's 1953 work, "The Parish Church of St Andrew, Newton Kyme, Yorkshire," on Plate XII.
