Description

Firby House is an 18th-century house that has undergone some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of rubblestone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and has four bays. In the centre, there is a 20th-century panelled door set beneath a cambered brick arch, flanked by two windows on each side. All the windows are 20th-century 16-pane casements with stone sills, which are situated below brick soldier courses. The house has an eaves band, an end stack to the right, and a ridge stack. It is included in the listing for its group value.
