Description

Crakehall House is a house from the mid-18th century, constructed of rubblestone with brick and stone dressings, topped by a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a symmetrical elevation with five bays. There is a central carriage opening that has a brick cambered arch, which has been infilled with a 20th-century four-light French window. All the windows are sashes with glazing bars, and they have stone sills and flat brick arches with keystones. The house also has shaped kneelers, stone coping, and chimney stacks at both ends as well as one on the ridge.
