Description
Craven House is a 17th-century house constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof, featuring quoins and kneelers. The front facing the garden has two storeys and three windows. The windows are double chamfered stone mullion windows, with hoodmoulds on the ground floor. However, between the first two windows on each floor, there is a blocked 19th-century two-light window. A chamfered doorway is located between the second and third windows. The arrangement of the windows includes two, five, and five lights on the ground floor, and two, three, and three lights on the first floor. The gable facing the street has a single two-light window of the same style on the first floor. At the rear, there are two windows of this type: one with two lights that illuminates the current stairs, and another with four lights featuring a king mullion. Inside, there is an 18th-century fireplace, and the house has two chimneys.
