Description
This is a barn or farm outbuilding located approximately 150 metres south of Sleningford Park, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed cobbles with rusticated quoins and features a 20th-century pantile roof with an eaves course of stone slates. The building has two storeys and consists of three bays. The central bay has a narrow board door with a Diocletian window above it, and there is a similar window to the left that has been blocked. On the first floor, there are three square openings with sawn-stone surrounds, with the central opening deepened to serve as a loading door. The roof is hipped. At the rear, there has been a partial conversion to domestic use in the 20th century. The barn, dovecot, and stables were built as a group to be viewed from the driveway leading to Sleningford Park.
