Description

No 14 High Street is a shop with offices above, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a 20th-century pantile roof. It stands three storeys high and features two bays. The central entrance consists of 20th-century glazed double doors with a fanlight, flanked by bowed sash windows that include glazing bars. The wooden architrave above the shop windows is supported by carved brackets and features a cornice. The first and second floors have recessed 16-pane sash windows with incised wedge lintels. The building is topped with dentilled eaves and has end stacks.
