Description
This sundial, dated 1714, is located in the churchyard approximately 10 metres south of the Church of St Saviour. It is made of gritstone and stands about 1.2 metres high overall. The sundial features a square plinth with cyma moulding at the base of the shaft. The lower part of the shaft is square in section, which then transitions to an octagonal section below a moulded cap that originally held a brass plate, although the gnomon is now missing.
