THORNTHWAITE WITH PADSIDE CHURCH LANE (east side) Sundial in churchyard approximately 10 metres south of Church of St Saviour

Sundial. Dated 1714. Gritstone. Approximately 1.2 metres high overall; square plinth with cyma moulding to shaft base. Shaft: square section to lower part, chamfered to octagonal section below moulded cap carrying remains of original brass plate, gnomon missing.
