Description
High Side Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof, which was being relaid at the time of the survey. The building is two storeys high and features a continuous rear outshut with three bays. It has quoins at the corners and a central four-panel part-glazed 20th-century door set in a stone surround with impost jambs. The farmhouse has sash windows that are placed under flat arches made of rubble voussoirs. There are shaped kneelers and end stacks. The rear outshut includes stone surrounds for the sash windows. A 20th-century flat-roofed porch at the left end is noted but is not of special interest.
