Description
Sugar Hills Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, with a 19th-century rear wing. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and ashlar, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features two bays, along with a single-storey outbuilding to the left and a rear wing. The corners of the cottage are marked by quoins. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door set within a plain stone surround. All windows are framed with plain stone surrounds that include keystones. The cottage's fenestration features 8-pane side-sliding sash windows, except for the ground floor window in the left bay, which is a casement. Additionally, there is a small window in a plain surround on the ground floor of the left bay. The building is topped with stone copings and has end stacks. The rear wing does not have any special interest.
