Description
North Pasture Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1657 with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and ashlar, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring a lobby-entry plan and quoins. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door with a lintel that bears the inscription "1657 MI," which is covered by a 20th-century stone porch. To the left of the entrance is a double-chamfered six-light chamfered mullioned window with a hoodmould, while to the right is a three-light recessed and chamfered mullion window, also with a hoodmould. On the first floor, to the right, there is a similar window to the one below, both of which were raised in the 19th century. The other two windows on this floor are chamfered mullioned windows that originally had two mullions but now only have one. The farmhouse features stone coping and has an end stack to the right as well as one on the ridge.
