Description

Gate posts and gate at the end of the drive to The Hill, built around 1860 by William Butterfield. The wooden gate is approximately 1.5 metres high and features alternating long and short bars, with horizontal and diagonal rails behind and iron strap hinges. The large gate posts are square in section and have chamfered tops.
