Description

89 Frenchgate is a building dating from 1549, possibly with 17th or early 18th-century alterations. The roof is now covered with modern asbestos pantiles, and a central brick stack is present. The building is rendered. It is two storeys high and has two windows, which are modern casements. The ground floor features two three-light windows. A 19th-century four-panel door provides access. The building forms a group with the neighbouring properties at Nos 87 to 95 (odd).
