Description

No. 87 Frenchgate is a mid-18th century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed from rubble with a slate roof and brick stacks at the gable ends. The top floor features two windows and one blocked opening, while the second storey has three windows. The central entrance is adorned with a rectangular fanlight, and all openings are framed in plain stone with rusticated keystones, lacking glazing bars. Access is provided by three stone steps.
