Description
The Pigeoncote to Manor Farm is a late 18th-century structure that is incorrectly labeled as Hill Farm on the Ordnance Survey map. It is built from pinkish-brown brick with sandstone dressings and features a combination of stone slate and pantile roofing. The building has a rectangular plan, with a round-arched entrance on the gable end that includes one ashlar impost. Above this entrance, there is a lunette with stone sills. The gable also has ashlar kneelers and coping. At the time of resurvey, the building was noted to be in a state of disrepair. The interior includes a single chamfered spine beam on the ground floor, and above, there are rows of flight boxes with sills on all four sides.
