Description

The railway bridge, built around 1860, features a cast-iron structure supported by rusticated sandstone abutments. It is a flat two-span bridge carried on six transverse Tuscan columns. The abutments are topped with a cornice band beneath a plain parapet that has flat coping. The bridge itself is adorned with an arcaded balustrade that has shaped coping.
