Description
Waterloo Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1815, constructed from ashlar with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. It has quoins and a central 20th-century part-glazed door that is topped by an overlight with marginal panes, all set within an ashlar surround with interrupted jambs. Above the doorway, there is a sandstone plaque inscribed with 'WATERLOO FARM 1815'. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, ashlar sills, and projecting lintels. The roof features shaped kneelers and ashlar copings, with an end stack on the right side. At the rear, there is a landing sash window with glazing bars set in a round-headed ashlar surround, complete with thin imposts and a keystone. Additionally, there is a subsidiary range at right angles to the main building.
