Description

North Bridge, first mentioned in 1309, is a medieval structure that has been significantly rebuilt and widened twice on the upstream side. It is constructed of ashlar and features seven arches over the stream, which include both pointed and semi-circular designs. At the south end, there is a causeway and a parapet. An inscription on the west side notes the flood level from January 29th, 1883. The bridge also has stone gutters that drain the roadway and project deeply.
