Description
The railway bridge near the Recreation Ground was built between 1845 and 1848. It is constructed from rockfaced sandstone with ashlar dressings. The bridge features one semi-circular arch that has rusticated voussoirs and a plain impost band. There are splayed retaining walls that support the embankment.
