Description
The Almshouses of the Hospital of St Mary Magdalene date to 1892. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone. The building is one storey high and comprises Nos. 29 to 35 Magdalen’s Road, Ripon. The building has moulded coped gables on kneelers, with finials to the kneelers and at the apexes. It features stone-mullioned sash windows with glazing bars and chamfered mullions. Doorways are topped with Tudor heads and hoodmoulds. Stacks are placed diagonally. The Group Value context relates to the Hospital of St Mary Magdalene.
